BBVA Foundation opens selection for Leonardo Scholarships for Researchers and Cultural Creators

The selection of the BBVA Foundation for Leonardo Scholarships for Researchers and Cultural Creators is now open. 55 scholarships, that can reach up to € 40K, will be awarded. Registrations are made online until the deadline of March 18, at 7 pm, Spanish peninsular time.

Leonardo Scholarships for Researchers and Cultural Creators, awarded by the BBVA Foundation, aim to directly support the work of researchers and cultural creators of any nationality who, being in the intermediate stage of their career, have a highly innovative scientific, technological or cultural production.

The areas covered by this call are the following: Basic Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics); Biology, Environmental and Earth Sciences; Biomedicine; Information and communication technologies; Engineering and architecture; Economics and social sciences; Communication and Information Sciences; Human Sciences (Philosophy, Philology, Literature, Linguistics, History, Aesthetics and Musicology); Plastic Arts and Digital Art; Music (composition, direction and interpretation) and Opera; Literary creation and performing arts.
